Winter Parking Restrictions

This is a reminder of the parking

restrictions in the Village. When

there is a snowfall of more than

 two inches, please do not park on

 the street. This gives the Public

Works Department the opportunity

 to plow the streets. Please continue

the no parking restrictions until snow

removal operations have been completed.

EPA Releases new online video

This new 9 minute film showcases green techniques that are being used in urban areas to reduce teh effects of stormwater runoff on teh quality of downstream receiving waters.  The goal is to mimic the natural way water moves through an area before development by using design techniques that infiltrate, evaporate, and reuse runoff close to its source.  Highlights include green techniques on display in 2008 at the U.S> Botanic Garden's "One Planet - Ours!" Exhibit and at the U.S. EPA in Washington D.C., including recently completed cisterns.

The Valvoline Instant Oil Change located at 207 W. Rollins Road accepts, at no charge, the following waste materials: used motor oil, used oil filters & antifreeze. Their hours are Mon-Fri 8:00am-8:00pm, Sat. 8:00 am - 6:00 pm and Sun. 9:00 am- 4:00 pm. If you have questions you can call the store at 847-740-1026.
